I'm pretty much interested in knowing what the time frame is. Does it take a week? A month? A year? Several years? Thanks ahead of time.

Wouldn't it depend on how one takes care of one's self after finding out they have it?

I think it is different for everyone and it depends on whether the treatment for the colon cancer works or not. I knew someone with colon cancer and I think it spread in 9 months to a year.

it can vary widely, obviously the longer a person has it the greater the chances are that it has spread

it actually depends on the type of cancer because there are different grades of colon cancer. usually it takes several years.
