Does anal fissure connect with colon cancer

Does anal fissure connect with colon cancer?
Few months ago i was using #2 and tried hard that it bled. Then i went to Walgreens to buy benefiber. After i used benefiber it never bled ever since. This only happened ONCE that i knew of. Does this relate to colon cancer? just to let you know I come from a family where the boy can't act like a sissy so this means I can't cry about my self having medical problems or check for appointments.this means i have to deal with it>.> -age 17, and not overweight.

Ok dangerous porkchop Dude If you had a terd that was constipated and abnormal in diameter that you had to struggle it out, comes as no surprise to Me! :- ) that you had a bleeding fissure on your anal regeon. If it went away and you didn't have anymore bleeding or notice of a fissure, your Good Man! Some Dudes get hemorrhoids from such an event, and they can be tough to get rid of. without surgery. ..Glad that didn't happen to You Man. Colon cancer usually happens from a long time of irritation like you mentioned, and doesn't happen often. Frequent and long term anal bleeding would be one symptom of colon cancer. The conditions that you live under of not being able to have a medical problem is just so unrealistic, and I hope that you see it as the way not to be, and don't adopt this as being the normal way to treat your kids when you have them. Decide that this model is the one to totally reject and take on a good sense one...think of how it's making you feel. People loose kids that way too! Wanting the best for you Man Me! :- )

Congratulations for being able to think for yourself & make reasonably accurate decisions. More than likely, it was hemorrhoids. If you eat a lot of junk food, fast food restaurant garbage & drink sugary sweet soda's, you will end up being constipated. When you have a BM & try to force it out by pushing, hemorrhoids try to pop out & they bleed. Try to eat lots of boiled or steamed vegetables. Drink plenty of water, fruit juices & fat free milk to help keep the traffic flowing. Snack on lots of raw fruits & veggies. If you find yourself in the same situation anytime soon, when you have a BM, DO NOT try to force it out by straining. Try to let it exit naturally to avoid hemorrhoids.

Hey men i think you most go to a Doctor and check what's happen with you. And respect with your family they don't have that problem you are the only person that are going to handle this in a future if you don't go to the Doctor.

You shouldn't be getting advice about colon cancer on this website. If your doctor has recommended laxatives, use them, otherwise you should ask the doctors who are treating you. If you have an obstructing tumor in your colon and are now unable to pass feces or gas, go to the emergency room.
2 :
NO.because this is what we call a "pressure symptom".Meaning that the constipation is due to a mechanical obstruction and not physiological reason.Hence taking laxatives will only make things worse.Because what laxatives do is simply increase the motility of your abdomen. So imagine your forcefully pushing something down a pipe when you know that the other end of the pipe is blocked.Won't it be toxic... hope that answers your doubt..
3 :
I don't think so but just because a laxative doesn't work for you it doesn't mean you have colon cancer and I read your other question and I don't think a lemonade diet is good for you.
4 :
NinaĆ¢€™s answer is correct if you have an obstructing tumor in your colon and are now unable to pass feces or gas and therefore, laxatives would not work. If you had an obstruction whether or not it was cancer, you would not be on the internet and no one would need to tell you to go to the emergency room.

How young can somebody possibly get colon cancer

How young can somebody possibly get colon cancer?
I dont mean the usual and most common age, I'm just wondering how young it's possible to get it.

im pretty sure u can get cancer at any age
2 :
It's extremely rare (like almost unheard of) under 50
3 :
If you are exposed to radioactive materials or carcinogenic chemicals, you could get it before age 1. Very unlikely, however. It is typically a middle-aged disease in men.
4 :
It is possible to get it as a teenager, but these cases are not usually surprising as they have a rare hereditary type. Toddlers do not get colon cancer no matter what they may have been exposed to.

At what age should I start getting tested for colon cancer

At what age should I start getting tested for colon cancer?

Unless you have some kind of symptom, 40 is young enough to start with the first colonoscopy. Up until then you can do the stool smear that will check for blood in the stool. A colonoscopy is not painful you will be given a sedative that will make you sleep during the procedure. After that if nothing is found, every 2 to 5 years is often enough unless you start showing some kind of symptom.

The Queen has it right - but would add: is there a family history of cancer? I have it on both sides so was a little more conscious of potential problems..........noticed just a little blood on the tp so went in for a check-up and there were like 24 polyps.......and I was only 17 !!!!!! Doc said it was crazy young for that but glad I went in and had them taken care of. Took 3 visits to remove.......going in for check-ups every 6 months but no new ones.
3 :
Most physicians recommend by the age of 50. After that every 3-5 years unless there is history of cancer in your family. Trust me the preparation for it is worse than the procedure. If you are a healthy man (non smoker esp) it's okay to wait a few more years. Good question!!

You're only 20. That would be insanley young for colon cancer. Its probably hemmeroids or some other minor issue. Dont sweat it. If the bleeding gets worse or doesnt stop soon then go get a check up.

Colon cancer in the pediatric population is quite rare and often when it occurs it is linked to hereditary causes. Childhood colorectal cancers are not the same as an older adult type of cancer (research is still in progress to determine how different). It is rare, but it can happen. National Cancer Institute: Colorectal Cancer in children http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/treatment/unusual-cancers-childhood/Patient/page4#Section_52 Colorectal carcinoma in children. (ages 7-16) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10549756
