I know a person with colon cancer who also happens to have discomfort in their eyes, he complains about the eyes feeling dry and as if he was really tired, is there any possibility that his dry eyes might have any correlation with his cancer condition?

It could very well be the type of treatment he's getting. I'm getting the most common type of chemo for colon cancer, which is 5FU, Oxypalatin and Leucovorin, and tiredness and dry eyes are very common (there is a huge list of side effects, and both are listed). He should talk to his oncologist to see what he would recommend for both. He may at least be able to give him some type of drops for his eyes.
