I am having a difficult time deaing with stress. I may have breast cancer after battling colon cancer.?
I am in the middle of a divorce from my sociopath/narcissist husband who sends me text messages asking about my health. Starting a new job at the same time and my child hates college. What can I do to relieve stress?

have dinner with friends, see a movie, go to the gym, speak to a counsellor, get a massage, find a new hobby, read a good book, have a long bath, talk to your child, talk to me lol

Do things that you enjoy read a good book take trips to somewhere you want even if you think its impossible im 18 but i know if i was in that situation i would take time for myself do things i enjoy got to the beach reminence about good old times and enjoy life get away for a little while this is your life and you only live once theres no such thing as impossible always believe God will get you through this and he always has a plan for you talk to him and give him your worries to take care of my mom tells me this when im stress and i dont worry because nothings impossible for him ill keep you in my prayers tonight

Until you get test results and a diagnosis, don't worry about the breast symptoms, they might be cancer but they might not. Worrying won't change it. If you don't want to answer your Ex - ignore him. You are divorcing him anyway. Starting a new job is stressful, but use it as a distraction from your worries about your health. Your child hates college? Tell them they can get over it, or come home and get a job and nurse you while you are going through treatment. Right now is the time to be a little selfish and start putting yourself first.

Colon Cancer and no insurance
Colon Cancer and no insurance!?
I've been having symptoms of colon or anal cancer for several months now, but will not have insurance coverage until jan or feb!! I've been avoiding going to the emergency room or some clinic because I'm scared that if it is discovered before insurance, it will be considered a pre-existing condition and they will not cover treatment related to the cancer. Not sure what to do or if that is even the case. Any advice? Thanks, I'm praying that it is nothing serious. p.s. in an attempt to avoid any hurtful jokes, I have NEVER had anal sex. On many occasions the toilet bowl has been completely red after a movement. Pain after movements for several hours. Pain during movements (even it is soft). The blood is bright red.

i really think it is disgusting how people in your country cant get the best medical treatment, for free, you need to come to Australia, we too have medical insurance but that just means if you are covered you can get a fancy hospital room and things like dental work can be done right away instead of a waiting list. I had a gynecological problem a few months back and for absolutely free i saw a doctor who referred me onto a fantastic gynecologist who helped me with my problem. Peoples health shouldn't count on whether or not they have money or insurance.

Yes, it would be considered a pre-existing condition. You might have to wait a while after your insurance kicks in too. I'd like to know why you think you have cancer? Possibly you only have hemorrhoids. That would cause bleeding. I'm not a doctor or a nurse but I would think if the blood is red. Like fresh then it would probably be hemorrhoids. You could have diverticulitis's which causes pockets in the colon and causes pain. Eat rice and try to clean out the colon. See if that helps. You could go to the health food store and pick up a super colon cleanser. A gentle herbal method of helping you clean out the colon. Try to stop eating anything with seeds or take the seeds out when you eat things like tomatoes. No nuts. Read up on diverticulitis's. I hope this helps. I hope you are really alright. Good luck

What symptoms are you talking about? Did you find a polyp? Go to the doc, get a flex sig (its less expensive). Why would you not want to shell out 150 bucks for a test that could save your life? Not having insurance doesn't mean you can't go to at least an office visit. Or you can wait, but there is a big difference between getting a polyp snipped out and having a colon resection with a colostomy bag after waiting.

There are health care clinics that will go by your income , such as Planned Parenthood and Community Health Care Center.Also based on what you said , It sounds like it could be IBD , inflamatory bowel disease or colotis or IBS irratible bowel sydrome .My fiancee went to the doctor for similar symtoms and found out it was IBD and it can be cotroled by eating the right diets, but only a doctor can diagnose for sure of what it is , the sooner the better, good luck.

From family experiences with this kind of situation (cancer), I understand the personal trials and financial strains placed upon a person with such symptoms. But you cannot avoid a disease; instead, one has to face those fears, in spite of the potentially negative news. And what if it isn't cancer at all? I'd visit a doctor as soon as possible, and pay for it in cash if at all possible. It is possible that one would not provide an accurate soc security number, and one could use a close friend's telephone number and mailing address. May the Lord Jesus Christ walk with you during this difficult challenge in your life.

I think you are probably letting your imagination get the best of you. Many things cause bright red blood in the stool following a bowel movement. It could be an anal fissure, hemmorhoids, or proctitis. You should go to your doctor for a sigmoidoscopy. This is done in the office. He will run a scope into your rectum (sigmoid colon) and look around. If you have no money or insurance, you can make payment arrangements. RN

I would never presume to diagnose whether you have anal or colon cancer based on what you have told me. In truth, the symptoms don't really sound like either of those entities. Be that as it may, let's assume for a minute that it is. If you wait for several months without treatment, you risk considerably more than being unable to get insurance coverage. After all, insurance won't do you any good if you are dead...... I would strongly suggest that you get this checked out. Consider going to a gastroenterologist. Explain in advance what your financial situation is and often they will be willing to cut a deal for less since you will be dealing cash on the line. I suspect that a physical examination and a basic examination called an anoscopy will give you your answer. The gastroenterologist will want to do a full colonoscopy for completeness, but my guess is that you will already have your answer and considerable peace of mind before the colonoscopy

I know there's probably gonna be some smartalick that gives you a whole synopsis of the situation but I'm gonna give you the simplest, easiest, most credible answer you can use ... last year my dad died of colon cancer ... the reason he died was because by the time it was discovered the cancer had spread to his liver .. in other words, if it's caught in an early phase, it's treatable ... this makes me comfortable because around the time my father gave up treatments, I was diagnosed with colitis, which is a type of inflammation, or as you put it, infection of the colon .. my meds don't cure me but keep my condition in control, and I was assured by my doctor that it wouldn't cause colon cancer because I'd always be under a watchful eye .. you need to remember that with your father ... he's being treated right now, which means if by chance his illness becomes cancerous, it'll be caught in such an early phase that the cancer wouldn't have a chance ... he's in a very good position right now, remember that visit this site http://how-to-prevent-colon-cancer.blogspot.com/ to learn how to cleanse your colons, improve digestion and conquer colon cancer, number 2 cancer killer.
